This is Boris – Boris is a friend of Miffy and was once, like Miffy, created by Dutch illustrator Dick Bruna.

Mr Maria Boris night light is a companion and mood light, illuminating a cosy corner for an evening in. He adds class and cuteness wherever you have him sit. The yellow touch dimmer button located on the power cable allows for 6 brightness settings. The last brightness setting is the night mode. It is an extremely soft glow that you can leave on for the night.
